The new partnership between UGAMI and SICARS took a positive step today when Professor Nik Heynen and students taking his Geography of the Georgia Coast class learned how to plant red peas at SICARS and several other plots across the Hog Hammock Community.  Cornelia Walker Bailey and Deloris Walker taught Nik and the students how to sow the seeds and prepared them to come back and help to harvest later in the summer.
